Feb 27 (Reuters) – UnitedHealth Group has limited employee pay raises this year to between 0% and 2%, depending on performance, Bloomberg News reported on Friday, citing a person familiar with the matter.
* The modest compensation increases come as the companyrecently told an unspecified number of workers they were beinglaid off, Bloomberg reported, citing the person. * UnitedHealth did not immediately respond to a Reutersrequest for comment. * The company earlier this year said 2026 revenue would decline for the first time indecades. * The company’s shares were also pressured after the Trumpadministration proposed a much smaller-than-expected increase to2027 Medicare Advantage rates.
