Editor January 13, 2026 1 minute read

WASHINGTON, Jan 12 (Reuters) – U.S. President Donald Trump will interview BlackRock Inc’s chief bond investment manager Rick Rieder on Thursday as a candidate to lead the Federal Reserve, Fox Business Network reported on Monday, citing unidentified administration sources.

Rieder is among four finalists under consideration for the job to succeed Fed Chair Jerome Powell, whose term as head of the U.S. central bank expires in May.
