Markets don’t need perfection. They only need an absence of doubt. Palantir delivered perfection Monday night and still couldn’t clear that bar.

Palantir Technologies reported Q3 2026 GAAP earnings of $0.44 per diluted share on revenue of $2.313 billion. GAAP operating margin expanded to 47%, and net income attributable to common stockholders reached $1.128 billion, figures most enterprise software companies wouldn’t project in their most optimistic board presentations. U.S. commercial revenue grew 148% year over year and 29% sequentially, surpassing U.S. government revenue for the first time in the company’s history. Management raised full-year guidance too. Full-year 2026 revenue guidance was lifted to $8.530 billion to $8.534 billion, representing approximately 91% growth for the year.

The Number That Did the Damage

The uncomfortable number was further down the announcement: U.S. commercial total contract value rose just 11% year over year to $1.463 billion, raising questions about how reliably today’s exceptional growth can continue. Growth in U.S. commercial contracts slowed sharply, a stark deceleration from the 153% annual growth recorded in Q2. Total contract value across the company rose only 6% year over year to $2.918 billion, far slower than headline revenue growth.

This is the beat-and-raise that got sold. The market was pricing continuation of the demand signal, not just delivery on existing contracts. Next year’s revenue comes out of work signed this year, and total remaining deal value growth has already slowed from 83% to 55% in one quarter. Investors did the math faster than the earnings call could frame it.

Options Pricing vs. Reality

As of October 30, options priced PLTR for a roughly 12.4% move on the November 2 report.

This Company Could Be the Nvidia of 2027

Marc Chaikin first recommended Nvidia back in 2015. And for anyone who followed that advice, you could have seen gains as high as 21,000%. But if you missed out on Nvidia’s extraordinary run, he now believes another stock could help turn some ordinary Americans into millionaires in 2027.

Marc shares the ticker symbol and the full details here.

The actual close-to-close move was -3.13% on November 2, settling at $178.34. The options market priced a 12%-plus swing. The realized move, at least through Tuesday’s pre-market, is tracking inside that range, which means premium sellers who managed the position were rewarded. Buyers of directional calls were not.

Post-event, IV crush is now the dominant dynamic.

Structured Trade Framework

Bull case: Net dollar retention reached 165%, up 800 basis points from the prior quarter, and total remaining deal value hit $13.4 billion, up 55% year over year. For traders expecting the contract deceleration to prove transient, a defined-risk bull call spread targeting a recovery toward $195 to $200 over 30 to 45 days captures upside while capping exposure to continued selling pressure.

Bear case: With approximately 2.30 billion Class A shares outstanding as of June 30, 2026, $178.34 implies a market value near $410 billion, or about 48x the $8.532 billion midpoint of 2026 guidance. That valuation leaves no room for a second consecutive quarter of slowing bookings. A put spread targeting $165 to $170 over 30 days reflects the downside scenario without requiring a catastrophic outcome.

High-Grade Silver-Gold Hits Fuel Sub – $1 Discovery Stock

Silver and gold are at historically high levels as investors hunt for the next mining breakout. One overlooked small-cap Canadian explorer is reporting high-grade silver-gold drill results in a historic Mexican mining district.

With assays pending, drills turning, and shares below US$1, this discovery story could be one drill-hit away from catching the market’s full attention.

Neutral case: The November 20 expiry carries an expected move of roughly $36.71, or 19.8%, from current levels. For traders expecting consolidation in the $165 to $190 range through mid-November, an iron condor centered on $178 collects premium while defining maximum risk on both wings.

Risk and Forward Outlook

The core risk is sequential. Adjusted gross margin held at 85%, and adjusted operating margin reached 62%, the profitability is not in question. What the market is recalibrating is whether contract growth, which funds the next two or three quarters of recognized revenue, is structurally decelerating or merely lumpy. Morgan Stanley raised its price target from $205 to $233 on November 3 while maintaining an Equalweight rating, a move that signals confidence in the long-term model but caution on the near-term risk-reward at current prices.

The Q4 guide will resolve very little. The contract value number in February is what matters.

Action Checklist

  • Verify IV rank before entering any long premium structure: post-crush IV changes breakeven calculations versus pre-report entry.
  • Track U.S. commercial TCV in Q4 2026 results. A second consecutive quarter below 30% year-over-year growth confirms the deceleration; a rebound above 50% reopens the bull case.
  • Bull structure: defined-risk call spread, $185/$200, November or December expiry, for traders expecting mean reversion toward the 52-week midpoint.
  • Bear structure: put spread, $170/$155, 30 to 45 days, for traders pricing in continued multiple compression at about 48x sales.
  • Neutral structure: iron condor, $165/$175 put spread / $190/$200 call spread, November 20 expiry, targeting a consolidation range after the volatility reset.
  • Monitor peer AI software names including NOW, DDOG, and CRM for confirmation or refutation of the enterprise contract deceleration signal.
